Welcome to the shop! Glitter in my Coffee makes whimsical and unique handmade bags and accessories from the home studio in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

Every bag is made with high-quality fabrics, vinyl, or cork fabrics along with exceptional zippers and hardware to create a bag that is one-of-a-kind. 

Fun fabrics are my specialty - especially geek prints that let you carry your favourite fandom with you - wherever you go!

Meet the maker

Hi, I'm Lisa! Thank you for stopping by my little shop on the web. 

Growing up with a talented grandmother, I got hooked on creating at a very young age. At eight, I inherited a vintage Singer sewing machine and taught myself to sew - long before there was YouTube and the internet! I've been sewing ever since, and about seven years ago, I made my first custom handbag and was hooked! I've been developing my skills as a bag maker ever since and today I specialize in creating one-of-a-kind bags.

I started Glitter in my Coffee in late 2020 (yes, in the middle of the pandemic) to share my love of making fun, unique bags with bag-lovers everywhere! I also work full-time in marketing and public relations and when I'm not working at my day-job, I'm usually sewing or hanging out with my Girl Guides group!

Every bag is made in the smoke-free and cat-friendly sewing studio in my home in Abbotsford, British Columbia - a suburb of nearby Vancouver in the beautiful Fraser Valley.
